Last year everyone jumped on the USF bulls bandwagon during the 07' football season. Sales skyrocketed so I assumed the jump in sales was from the success of the football program. An article I read when researching this further, reported that the sales doubled to $2.5 million from 2003-2004 when the new logo came out and that year the USF bulls football had a losing season. Enrollment is at a record high 45,585 students, USF is the 3rd largest school in Florida behind Florida and Florida State. As enrollment continues to rise sales will be directly affected, especially when a new logo comes out. If enrollment continues to rise and the school continues to raise tuition, why is there budget cutting of up to $35.6 million this year. Maybe they should come out with a new logo each year and that way they can make even more money off students?
