The Problem with Sustainability

• To foster an awareness of various degrees of manipulation, and by promoting a sense of security entities such as the government use methods of fear to control emotional responses.

• Feelings of security are primarily subjective, and have a limited connection to reality.

• Explain the correlations between financial debt, fear and morality. All utilize gratitude as a emotional tool for exerting will upon others.

• Explore our willingness to allow manipulation as a result of the need for comfort.

• Discuss how terms such as “sustain-ability” have been used to promote feelings of well-being.

• Following how emotional needs are used to sell products and services by exploiting gratitude to those who can provide comfort.
