You included historical facts along with a bit of your own opinion to bring in some controversy which allows the reader to become more involved and help them to bring up their own opinions and arguments as well. Your essay started out very strong and entriguing which was drawing me in to continue reading more. The last sentence of the first paragraph "This paper discusses the way politics changes definitions and has changed them throughout time." It seemed to be a little unnecssary. It was very well written, the flow was a little funny jumping back and forth a little bit. You still got your point across.

I have to say that absolutely loved your essay. The success and failure of rhetoric is more of less an endless topic. I enjoyed how you brought the current political campaign involved because that is a perfect example. It's all about rhetoric and whether or not they are true to word.
