You did not link any sites, videos, etc into your essay! Its great to read an essay that has side notes and linking into it and I think you could have put some things in. Its cool how you started off talking about the class but I don’t think it was needed. The whole first paragraph seems like you’re going to talk about composition class for the rest of the essay. However, from then on, everything flows better. I liked where you talked about the license and how no one is original because I completely agree HA. It’s a cool feeling to read something and think to yourself that you could’ve written it for they are thoughts that you have had before. Sometimes you stray from your thesis (sustainability) but it is understandable because I had trouble relating everything back to one thing as well. You could have focused more on the importance of sustainability because you don’t have many premises for it (I’m going by the grading algorithm for this part). Its not quite an argumentative essay more than an informal informative one (which I do prefer). I would give the essay an 20 out of 25 just because some of the things mentioned above are pretty important. Your content is good in terms that you’ve included a lot of what we’ve discussed in class and in the books, but you could have pulled out some outside information as well. There is not a lot of ethos, logos, pathos sources, which you could include through things outside of the class.
