Attribution Non-commercial No Derivatives (by-nc-nd)

by nc ndThis license is the most restrictive of our six main licenses, allowing redistribution. This license is often called the “free advertising” license because it allows others to download your works and share them with others as long as they mention you and link back to you, but they can’t change them in any way or use them commercially.

I chose this creative commons license because I would love people to share my work (if I had any), but I wouldnt want to be taken advantage of. This license allows sharing products without changing them and giving the author credit for his/her work. I noticed most people were all for sharing, but if I were to spend a great amount of time on something that I cherished and wanted people to hear or see, I would definately not want someone to alter it in their own or take credit for it. To me it seems like its a waste of time. Why spend all that time perfecting something that could be changed in an instant by anyone who wants to change it. Not that I want all the glory, but sometimes things seem more worth it if you are given credit for it in the end. Maybe i'm selfish? I dont know. So yes, I did choose the most restricted license, but its what I truly believe.
