Chlorofluorocarbons
I clicked on this link simply because I thought the word was pretty sweet. At it, I learned the compounds were previously used in things like refrigerants but are now prohibited in most cases because of their effect on the ozone layer.
Ethical Consumerism
I chose to click on the ethical consumerism link because consuming ethically is something I try to do often. Working in retail, I see all too often how much unnecessary plastic our clothes come packaged in, including all of the "go green" merchandise, and it's heartbreaking both to my environmentally loving side and the side of me that really wants cute clothes. Sometimes, I give in, sometimes, I don't. Which is why I appreciate any information I can get on the topic.
This is also the wikipedia article I would like to edit. Disappointingly, it didn't have any links for ethical consumers (such as Alternative Apparel) and I would like to add some. I would add this to the "External Links" section.
Dematerialization
I chose this link because the ethical consumerism got me stuck on the environmental side of things. Dematerialization seems like an interesting concept although I wish it had more information about how it works. I would also like more information on the Spiral Theory the article includes, as I'm not sure I see the connection to dematerialization.
Progressivism
This link was very interesting. Apparently, there is a whole collection of social and political philosophy I had never heard of. Browsing the article, the progressivism's push for social justice and workers' rights seems like a great idea. I would really like to learn more about this topic.
Biodiversity
Finally, I clicked on biodiversity simply because it interests me. In my free time, I'm usually reading biology articles or watching lectures by biologists such as Richard Dawkins. Naturally, I skipped to the section on evolution and it was predictably short. This always tends to bother me because I feel like so many people have a very limited understanding of evolution, so I would also add some links to this article, and maybe suggest people watch this.
This is a pretty interesting article. I typically don't read much on biology, but this actually held my attention and made me think. I understand why you are bothered by how short the evolution section is. I mean, I know there's more to the subject, yet it seems like people just want to keep it short. The video was very helpful =) Sarah Richardson
