It seems like no one these days know their Copyrights from their Open Domain Resourcing. The truth of the matter is with a copyright it doesnt always mean that you can not use the subject matter. It just means you need certain permission from the owner to use that information. I mean some people may not care when you use their information, but most people do not like the fact that you could use their ideals to make money. Usually once money is involved with anything then it becomes a dramatic event. Money is the seed of evil and greed. So many people are afraid that they will get ripped off of their ideas and go and get it copyrighted. For instance if I created a new computer software that would be bigger than MySpace and Facebook combined I would want to close the sourcing and copyright it so NO one could steal my potential money profit.

These Artists decided they were gonna take a humorable view of the "Mona Lisa" made by Leonardo da Vinci. I think if da Vinci was alive today to see how all his hard work has been chopped up he would not be so happy. I don't believe they had copyright laws back in his time. But now a days thousands of replicas of his work are made available to everyone who wants one. Computer Software these days can make it possible to anything to pictures, music, and writings. Altering everyone original works. Copyrighting is very important.
