I have been a college football fan all my life ever since I can remeber I have been exposed....more like forced on the perspective that Oklahoma University football is 2nd next to family, then come education. Just kidding but seriously, OU football is life in my house my father went there and I would of gone there if I did not have to pay for out of state tution. I have followed in my father's footsteps in the march of carrying the flag of the Sooner nation. My father has died down from his get fucking crazy attitude towards the game, must be because he stop drinking. But where he has stopped I have continued, I may not have lived in Oklahoma, but I have roots there. I have held on to the team I have loved and cried for at solid 19 years.....ok probably like 15 idk if I really knew what was going on when I was that little. But I never gave up hope never rooted for another team never jumped on the banwagon and have declared myself a fan for life. In the past I have seen us go from national championship to have a on-side kick which we recovered given to the other team *cough* FUCK PAC-10 OFFICALS *cough*, I have seen the might Goaliath drop to most david. Yes OU vs. Boise State the game of the century as it was dubbed even though the century was like 7 years old, I watched as the hook and ladder and the statue of liberty play was immortalized in college football history. Still to this day If I had the chance to go cut the akiles tendon of Ian Johnson I would do it in a heart beat. I have a list of hate that I put out, at the stop it begins with one team OU's most hated rival the Texas Longhorns a team that I would love to see all die in a plane crash. Right below them is Boise state, below them is the Pac-10 officals, then it would have to be Oklahoma State, then Nebraska. The list has alot of other things I shouldnt say online so I am not going to. But When it comes down to it I have one love and will die for one team....THE OKLAHOMA SOONER!!!!!!!!

This tangent has shined a light on what I am going to do my final project on for this semester....the love of college football, the ups and downs, the rivalries, the tradtions the coaches trophie.
